We plan on running the show completely. I know movements of set will still be rough but we will figure it out completely when our movers and tech folk meet Saturday night at 5!

This is the final night I get to focus on you completely so give it your best even though we will have some missing again... We need to be off book and completely focused for tech week,and I need everyone there every night. I can't be getting messages that you need to miss a rehearsal the day of, it's very important that you be there.

A week from today we will be doing a Q to Q, I am not requiring anyone there but I would be more comfortable if we ran transitions into different sets so if movers and backstage help could be around that would be wonderful!

A Christmas Carol Auditions

Hey there everyone,

Not sure who still checks this but I wanted to post here that A Christmas Carol auditions will be held October 12 from 5pm-10pm and October 12 from 1pm-5pm.

I would like for you to know a dramatic monologue. Children are not required to. You may also be required to sing a Christmas Carol like Carol of the Bells or Hark the Harold Angels Sing. I will also have a cold reading from the script for most of you.

Hello everyone!!

Just reminding you all that tomorrow after the matinee is strike for The Sound of Music. BOTH CASTS (Rodgers and Hammersteins) are called to be a part of strike. If you are not performing tomorrow, please be in the Showboat Lobby for 5:45pm. Dinner will be provided to everyone and then strike will run until 10pm. 

PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR SCRIPTS!! All scripts (already erased) should be turned into me at the strike dinner.

7/19 – CHUNK 2 (Pg. 36-65)

• ·      Nicole—Try teasing Carly a little on “You belong to a lonely hearts club???”
• ·      Carly—better job interacting with Ilona—keep doing that and get your objective
• ·      Nicole—don’t scoop on “Come to think of it…gramophone” section
• ·      James—try harder to interject into Georg and Maraczek’s argument
• ·      Elliot—remember to start to x away from Sipos when he’s on the ground (Perspective)
• ·      James—get further upstage on solar system/universe bit
• ·      Audrey—enter for end of Perspective from stage right
• ·      Carly—fingernail (“better!”) energy is great—just take ½ second to really look at them
• ·      Rob—really try to play passive aggressive more in DS Right scene w/ Georg
• ·      Rob—when he yells across the room, deal with the customers
• ·      Savannah—don’t say “Excuse me, is this the large…” until Maraczek has exited
