2013 Audition Tour begins!
2013 Local Auditions
When: Saturday, January 19, 2013
2pm - 7pm
Where: Ashford University’s Mullany Theatre
Who: Roles available for performers of all ages, including children
More Information:
Persons interested in auditioning should prepare 32 bars of a song from musical theatre. An accompanist will be provided, but those auditioning should bring sheet music for their song. Children in seventh grade or below may sing a song from THE SOUND OF MUSIC a cappella (without piano accompaniment). Applicants will not be required to dance, but may be asked to read from a script or learn a short musical selection from one of the shows. Those interested in auditioning for the intern program (teen summer intensive for those currently in 8th through 12th grade, producing School House Rock Live, Jr. this summer) may either sing or present a 30 second monologue. The Showboat’s 2013 Season will include: Forever Plaid, Godspell, The Sound of Music, She Loves Me, andAlmost, Maine. CAST Teen will be producing School House Rock, Live, Jr.
