To the cast of GODSPELL

Hey Wonderful Cast of Godspell,
 
We were so impressed by all of you this morning, and so excited to finally have this show take flight. All of you could have sung every song in this show, and would have been stellar on it. In casting these songs, we were trying to find the song that we thought matched your voice and personality. Here’s what we came up with:

Nicole – Turn Back, Oh Man (Morgan)
Jordan – Day By Day (Anna Maria)
Carolyn – By My Side (Uzo)
Carly – Bless the Lord (Lindsay)
Haden – All Good Gifts (Telly)
Nathan – Learn Your Lessons Well (Celisse)
Jill – Light of the World (George)
Nate – We Beseech Thee (Nick)

As you know, this show is open to so much creating, imagination and additional moments. We will play, we will switch characters on some parables, but I would like you to start looking at the role that matches your song. As I said before, I want your personality molded to this character, not the character molded to you.

I’ve also included your roles in the Opening/Tower of Babble section:

When there’s a 4-part vocal split:
- Carolyn, Nicole, Jill on the bottom / Carly and Jordan on top
- Haden and Nathan on top / Nate and Elliot on bottom /
