INTERN UPDATE

Thanks for an awesome week, Interns! I'm excited for the weeks to come. 

Interns of the week = Kamerra and Matt! Thanks for all your hard work. Always looking for more ways to help with shows and tech. Way to take initiative!

Here's a quick note about using your comp tickets:

If you are involved in a show (tech or performing), you have 2 complimentary tickets for your friends or family. Go to the box office to reserve these free tickets before the night of the show so that your friends or family can get into the show. If you have questions, just ask me or the box office!

We had our first Intern Meeting Saturday morning. Here are the main points:

- Our weekly meeting will now be Saturdays at 10am

- Cell phones need to stay off during rehearsals. If you need to send a text or make a call, wait until the break or step out of the rehearsal for a second to do so

- Every intern is required to have a notebook (or folder) to keep all scripts and notes safe. Be sure to have some scrap paper to take notes. Bring this notebook with all scripts to every rehearsal or ALL CALL.

- Every intern is required to have a pencil at all times

- When your ride is waiting to pick you up from a performance, please ask him/her to wait in the lobby and meet you there instead of waiting in the house during the show.

- We discussed ways to stay professional 

- We discussed ways to take care of our bodies (healthy food, exercise, happy activities, no drugs, etc.)

- If you'd like to work concessions for any of the performances, let me know

- Check the blog every morning! If you'd like to be a part of the daily text that gives the day's schedule, let me know (so far I txt Mariyah, Siara, Aiden, Will, Allison, and Danica)

Thanks again for all your work! Can't wait to see what this week has in store for us. I'll see you Monday morning at 10. We're all meeting in the Showboat house
